Just two weeks ago, Michael Scott (Steve Carell) contacted all of his exes after a herpes scare. While he got to see most of his former flames in person, fans of the show were only treated to a short (but adorable) phone conversation between Michael and the one woman who is really meant for him -- Holly Flax (Amy Ryan).
But soon enough, Molly (or Hichael?) fans can rejoice, as Holly is set to make her triumphant return on The Office's Dec. 9 hour-long Christmas episode. And no need to worry that we're just trying to get your hopes up about a reunion: The episode -- directed by Rainn Wilson (Dwight) and written by Mindy Kaling (Kelly) -- is a done deal and has already been filmed. "Finishing 'directing' @mindykaling's brilliant double episode 'Classy Christmas,'" Wilson tweeted last week, with Kaling adding that "It's gonna wreck you, Jackass style."
Don't get too excited though, because love might not be in the air. "Holly's in a serious relationship back in Nashua, so she's not thrilled to be back," executive producer Paul Lieberstein (Toby) teased to E!
Of course, this will be Carell's last season as the love-to-laugh-at Michael Scott, and many hopeless romantic fans are still hoping he exits by running off with Holly.
