Nick Cannon (who hosts a radio show called Rollin' with Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW) had a very special caller on the line during today's broadcast! Cannon's wife Mariah Carey called in Friday morning to talk about her pregnancy, which the couple confirmed to the media this week.
Carey, 41, said she's going through what so many pregnant women experience in the first few weeks. "Right now I feel nauseous, I'm exhausted," she said. Cannon, 30, then explained to his listeners that besides announcing their big news to the world, Carey also shot two music videos this week. Cannon then asked his wife when she'd slow down, to which she replied, "I guess after New Year's."
During the chat, Cannon excitedly talked about how their brood would be getting bigger this holiday season and they will have "lots to celebrate." Carey replied, "Yes, we do. We definitely, most certainly do."
The Grammy winner also admitted during the show that she hasn't had the chance to talk to everyone in her life about her announcement. "I wasn't in touch with anybody....I didn't even look and see who contacted me," she told listeners. She also said she hasn't been able to check all of her texts, voice mails and e-mails. "I'm still insulated," she said. Still, Carey made sure to thank all of her family, friends and fans "for the well wishes."
