Josh Duhamel: The Fishy Thing That Happened on My Wedding Day

It's every bride's worst nightmare to have rain on her wedding day -- which is exactly what happens to Anna Paquin and Josh Duhamel's characters in the upcoming dramedy The Romantics. Luckily, for his real-life wedding, Duhamel says "everything was perfect" -- except for one minor snag.
The actor, who wed Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie in 2009, dishes the details of their wedding to iVillage exclusively. He explains that they went all out for the lavish affair, filling a pond with 100 rainbow trout for guests to catch. Unfortunately the fishing line was too thick, scaring the trout away.
"So nobody caught any fish!" Duhamel says. "That's the one thing that went wrong with my wedding."
Duhamel, 37, also opened up to iVillage about the friendly vibe onset for The Romantics, saying that the ensemble cast felt more like college roommates. But his single male costars -- Adam Brody, Elijah Wood and Jeremy Strong -- joked that they were disappointed that the leading ladies were all spoken for.
"I was upset to learn that Malin (Akerman) was married," Strong said about his onscreen wife. "Nobody told me!"
"They were all either married or got married. It's like, come on!" added Brody, referencing Akerman, Holmes and Paquin (who married Stephen Moyer after filming ended).
